Public Relations

The goal of a public relations professional is to honestly and effectively communicate with an organization’s identified publics, to build reputation, to foster trust, and to enhance defined objectives by:

    • Fully informing a targeted audience,
    • Effectively persuading that audience of the rightness of the organization’s message,
    • Engaging and motivating the audience to take desired actions,
    • And building a foundation of mutual understanding.

“Publicity is absolutely critical. A good PR story
is infinitely more effective than a front page ad.”

– Richard Branson, founder of the Virgin Group
