Writing & Editing

Words convey meaning, pure and simple. They tell us about our world and how to do things, compel us to think, and force us to reveal ourselves to our readers. Words define and nourish our humanity. Words sing with beauty. Words startle and even shatter our peace. Words evoke emotion and prompt action. Words are important.

“The difference between the almost right word and the right word
is really a large matter. ’tis the difference
between the lightning bug and the lightning.”

Mark Twain
